Leone was a looker...

Back in April when we were down in D.C. visiting with family we snagged a little pot of vintage photo gold.  These were going to be tossed!!  I might make up some stories to go with the photos, but for now, just have a look at Leone.

Leone and the haystack. ("near Fort Dodge 1929")

Leone and her kill ("1928")

"Leone and Lady 1937"

Leone and her man discover a secret stash.  and a hound.  ("Ole & Leone Spices Minn. 1937")

Leone and her protege.  ("Leone Roberta Upton Ave. 1940s")

Pretty neat, huh?!  The stuff in quotes is what I found written on the back of the photos.  Oh, in addition to these great old photos we also scooped up some old Christmas cards from famous preachers.  Those will be making an appearance around the holidays.  They are quite something.  Promise.  Have a great Tuesday!!

I absolutely love vintage photos and these are just amazing. I feel like I can almost get a sense of who she is-glad to see she's a dog lover, even though she hunted too. :) Great find!

Leone was a badass! A story about all these would be fantastic, thanks for sharing them.
